I've just been to the little Tesco again.

My weather app said 45% chance of rain, so I wore my raincoat with the hood again, but I didn't fasten it. Our road is still be used as a diversion because road works are ongoing on the main road just by us, so there is heavy traffic on our road at the moment. I managed to cross the road pretty quickly on the way because nothing was coming though. When I got to the shop, I got the TV magazines as usual, then a bounty bar for my step-dad. I then got some pears and strawberries, and I got some Alpen with no added sugar for my Mum. I got some egg custard tarts again, and then all there was left to get were two bottles of milk. I looked at the magnum ice lollies in the freezer, but they didn't have any vegan ones. Then I went and paid. It came to just over £13. Then I set off for home. I picked up some feathers from by the grass opposite the Church. I'm collecting them. As I was just coming into our street, a guy from Church called Ian was driving past in his car. He'd been diverted! He shouted "Hi, Sharon," and waved as he went passed. The first bit of road I had to cross over on the corner was easy with no traffic. But then when I came to cross over to my side of the road it took me ages because cars started coming from both sides. Eventually I saw a gap in the traffic and crossed. A large lorry came down the road, and there were cars parked on either side of the road which he had to navigate through, and there was only room for one vehicle to get through. Other cars started piling up in the other direction waiting for him to pass! It's chaos on our road at the moment! When I got to my house there was a chap about to ring our doorbell. He followed me down to the side door and helped me in with my trolley. He wanted to know if I could get my step-dad for him, but I told my Mum there was a guy here for my step-dad. He said he could clean our drive for us and get rid of the weeds, but my Mum said we'd already got a quote from our regular gardener. It hadn't rained on me at all. I unpacked the groceries and put them away. And now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again! Somebody just bought a piece of land and he was talking about extending a house he was going to put on it. Tommy said you haven't built it yet and already you're extending it?
