Two days of myLot break

Weekend was spent mostly with family and my sister so I didn't get the chance to log in to myLot for a little over 2 days. We did just the usual lunch, conversations and packing of stuff. My sister flies back to Calgary on the 22nd so we're trying to spend as much time with her as we can even if it's just a trip to the mall. (We would've booked a resort if it hadn't been for the rains.) I gave my sister a book that she can read on the plane. It's been my duty every since because we're the only two among four kids who'd read 'til our eyes bled. And we happen to trust each other's book tastes and recos. I gave her a memoir of a schoolteacher in an old Alaskan community. I never got to finish it but I thought she might like it because she used to be a volunteer teacher for the United Nations in Eastern Europe. Anyways, husband left for Naga City early Sunday morning to train private school teachers from the Bicol region. He'll be back Thursday morning. Our former housekeeper, Alfie, and her young son is staying with us while the husband is away. I'm hoping for the weather to clear up a bit so the boy can enjoy the community park and playground at least. (They don't have one where they live.) I'm hoping to put in more myLot hours this week and read through your posts and discussions. I've got some stuff to work on but nothing urgent to keep me away from myLot.
