It wasn't too hot early this morning / myLot

Earlier this morning, it was cool enough to move out to the Clam to write while K worked remotely inside the rig. With the fan, I will probably be able to stay out here for a couple more hours. A cat has been prowling around our campsite this morning. It looks like a Siamese mix. There aren't any houses around, so I don't know if she escaped from someone's camper or if she's a stray someone dumped in the park figuring she'd learn to hunt and make it on her own. K took Sophie on a hike this morning. I took Ace on a short walk. Pool little guy is only good for about a quarter of a mile these days. I hope your week is off to a good start. What's on your agenda for today?

I'm going to head to the Flaky Daycare if there are kids there. I already bought some t-bills and will now put my dishes in the dishwasher. To quote the great Gordon Lightfoot, "Just another lazy morning." Is Ace getting up there in years?

When we rescued him, his age was estimated to be between 5 and 7. That puts him somewhere between 13 and 15 now. He's also suffering from Doggy Dementia, the canine version of Alzheimer's. Some days he knows me and some days I'm just the guy who brings his food.

@DWDavis My horse was like that near the end. She lived to be 35, which is 105 in people years.

@TheHorse It is sad when you lose them while they're still with you and then have to lose them again when they go.
