Alone and the helper

Good thing I am not completely alone at our house, we have our house helper this next 4 days. I will be alone in the house most of the time because my mother needs radiation treatment for her cancer and they need to be in the hospital every day for about 1 month. So my mother and youngest sister rented an apartment for mother to live there for one month close to the hospital for radiation.
My brother is now working but he sleeps in the house every night. My father drive jeepney every other day. So every other day my father is in the house.
So today is the first day alone in the house with the helper. I accept tutorial job again in the morning for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
I'm not use to being alone in the house but I will get used to it. I need to take care of our pet dogs. I need to do all the folding of clothes, cook for dinner. I'm all by myself most of the time now.

Hoping for the best for your mother. I think it is practical to just be near the hospital/clinic where she will have her treatment. I think we need to adjust with the time and I guess just enjoy our solitude and maybe its a good time for you to pray for your mom's recovery.

I remember last year. I stayed in the house all alone for almost four months..

That is long I can't imagine to be alone for that long but now I actually enjoy it as I can go anywhere I like and buy anything I like

@brokenbee Yes I also take care of the food for our pet dogs and I have to walk them outside. Luckily we have a house helper half day so she do all the cooking, washing clothes, washing the dishes. It's a big help for me and I can make money tutoring in the morning

@averygirl72 Yes, and I had to do all the chores, especially cooking and feeding our pet cats and dogs. And aside from that, I also had to cook our food, do the laundry, clean the house and backyard. And I still had to go to the hospital... Whoa... It was so tiresome that I had lost so much weight then.

@averygirl72 That is wonderful. A sense of accomplishment really makes a person feel good.

I feel sad at first but now I'm starting to liking it. I have to be more responsible in the house. I tutor Reading, Math and Spelling

@AmbiePam I should be able to teach all subjects as much as possible but since it is vacation I focus on Reading and Math

I enjoy being by myself from time to time. I get a lot more done if I'm on my own.
