A Very Daring Little Spider

Ordinarily, whenever I find a spider inside the house, I pick it up with a paper towel and throw it outdoors. Well, in this case I didn't even bother. This spider was doomed! The daring little devil had built a web from my electric toothbrush to the plug-in on the wall. And how pray tell, did he think that he'd actually catch any bugs for his lunch? He was the size of a pencil point! The arrogance of that minute sized spider, I had no mercy on him!(her) My electric toothbrush is off limits for all insects, rodents and of course, humans! It's something I really like. It's a personal device that I use every day, to keep my teeth in fair condition! Anyway, Kharla isn't being very nice this morning. I think she needs to drink some more coffee, to elevate her thoughts to a kinder degree:) Photo: Mine

I would have done the same. Some things are for us and us alone. Toothbrushes and hairbrushes are on that list.

@kobesbuddy I have the same list, and the car is also on that list. I cannot stand dust in a vehicle.

@Juliaacv Some people don't mind trash in their vehicle. I throw it away, nothing stays!

I usually pick up a spider and put it out but I haven’t squashed a few.

The big ones I find, get tossed outside. They eat flies and mosquitoes all summer.

@kobesbuddy The only insect I like to kill is a roach.

If you helped it exit this world, then it no doubt deserved to be in the big spiderweb in the sky.

I don't same them. They tend to multiply. Can't handle seeing them. I do hope Kharla got a bit of a better attitude as the day progressed.

This spider was trying to lure insects, which we don't allow indoors.

This one was very tiny, I could barely see it. Most spiders are quite big, I'm afraid of them!

You spider murderer! Okay, I agree with you: get near the food or the toothbrush and it deserves everything it gets.

Yes, I guess violence is in my blood-line today:( I need to find a pillow to punch or take up boxing, before I do something that I might regret!

I kill every spider that's inside the house. Outside is their home, so I leave them alone.

When they live outdoors, that's fine because they eat mosquitoes and flies.

I would have done the same. I don't like spider webs on my personal items. Enjoy your day.

Building a spider web in our bathroom, I wasn't happy.

It was the wrong place. I leave spiders alone because they are useful, but if they would stay near personal items I would do the same.

This boy had no place, hitched up to my electric toothbrush!
