Going for chem sales exhibition

Due to work, gotta prepare some stuff for exhibition. However as chemicals are hazardous in nature, instead of using real chemicals and risk of spillage, I try to use food items similar in appearance. After all, the actual sales doesn't happen on the spot. I heard previously someone actually spilt some chemicals on one of the exhibitions and it reacted to cause some gas formation. Gotta be careful !!
