Went to Menard's for Lumber

Yesterday, we drove to Bay City, Mi to purchase some lumber. It was a lovely day!
Jay is planning to construct a back building on our new property. This way, we will have space to store our furniture until the house is built. Paying for storage is costly!
Where will we be living, until this happens? On our new lot in Tawas City, in Jay's fifth wheel. Once the natural gas and electricity are hooked up, we will be quite comfortable.
Until this happens, we will be roughing it without power and grilling outside each day. We will enjoy this time, as a married couple:)
Yes, we will be crowded in, but I really don't mind. The important issue is, we've finally got a permanent place to plant our feet down. A lovely green lawn, without a house! lol

@LindaOHio And I help Jay also, with holding the end of boards he's cutting or nailing. Climbing up a ladder to secure something in place. Jim will help us too, he's our retired friend. We shingled a back porch roof together, built a water bed inside the spare bedroom. Built picnic tables, to sell one summer. I always pitch in, to help with building things.

@kobesbuddy My grandmother bought a townhouse for me a few decades back, but other than that, I have not purchased property and built a house on it either, so I can somewhat imagine how excited you guys must be.

We have been married for 33 years, August 11th of this year. It has been an amazing experience, filled with adventures that I'd never imagined would happen:) We are both very happy!
