Hi there. It's been a long time. It's rainy day in my timezone. It's already 12:30Pm of July 27th here. How's your day so far? I know some US States is raining also because I've experienced chatting with me a while ago reporting that there's an outage of their telephone lines. They can't access their telephone and wired internet because of the outage. However, they can chat with us to report because they're using their mobile data. Anyway, the purpose of this discussion is just to mention that I've got my final pay in my previous company. Not that big, however, it will help our financial issues right now. It's been 3 months and 1 day already from the day I fled to the current company that I'm working with. How about you? Getting your final pay from your previous company, is that too long?

Three months seems like quite a long time, but I guess it's different everywhere.

I'm glad you got your final pay. When we get our final pay from a company depends on the type of contract we signed when the company hired us. But I don't remember any of them taking longer than a month to make the final payment. (I could be misremembering, though. Maybe other myLotters will know for sure.) In my part of the US it has been very hot. Even with clouds filling the sky we still get too hot. I took a screenshot of the temps/weather for the next week in my area. Screenshot is mine.

@DaddyEvil Thanks for sharing with this weather for your area in the next week. I hope that it will be a little colder in your end soon. That's good to know that you can get your final payment no longer than a month.

@luisga814 You're welcome. I hope the typhoon isn't causing any problems in your area. Thank you. This is temperatures we usually see in August, not July. When Walmart fired me because my eyes kept swelling shut, they gave me my final paycheck for two weeks (even though it was half way through the first of two weeks) and the rest of my vacation pay that I hadn't used yet when they fired me. The store manager gave me that check before I left the store.

@DaddyEvil That's good to know that you've got your final pay in Walmart for 2 weeks only. Although, I'm working in an American company for many years including my previous company, I still didn't memorize the temperatures per month. Typhoon right now is too heavy. By the way, we're still convincing Sam to go to the dentist and removed the one with issue.

That is a very long time! At the most it should of been 1 month! And it's true that if it's not that much it's ok....... these days every penny counts. I wish I was getting a check!

@dfollin Although, my previous company. The owner is from UK. However, the one handling the site here is a Filipino.

@LindaOHio Thanks. As much as I've wanted to enjoy, I can't. Rain is too strong at the moment in my area.

@thebos That's okay for a government. However, in my case, this is not a government final pay.

@jstory07 What I mean is during your final pay in the company you've worked before you transfer to the next company?
