Do You Ever Wonder If Music Can Be Written With No Pain

I guess its for everything in life. Has anything been made with no pain. I am sure no pain has been limited in some areas and came out great. The toothbrush, sure no pain there, just happiness. my teeth finally sparkly white. Other things like brooms, this is dirt and its not fun sweeping all this dirt up. Its always a wonder what makes a great song, some of them lazy fun and some of them so much deep work that required mental rewiring. All to be told the same thing, you suck and your music sucks and your way of life sucks but yet we like screw you jerk. I am fine and my music is fine. The great thing you can always say is so many people disagree with you my friend. In this case 28 million. In my day people from all sides agreed with this song. This day I am pretty sure they still do but will hide it to appease their evil captors.

Every life seems to have some pain in it, so if that pain can be channelled into music, poems, or something else, that is a good thing, I think too. Music can be written from depression too, but there is usually pain behind depression, as well.

I agree entirely. I have written some songs and poems over the years. Most have been inspired by something that made me very sad or very angry. Actually, maybe I'll link a song I wrote and recorded. It's on YouTube. The moth is a metaphor for a for a friend/friendship. That friendship dissolved, leaving me depressed and angry. She "moved toward the light," but was willing to through someone (moi) under the bus when another "light source" emerged. @Vandana7, from MyLot, along with DJ, also from MyLot, posted it for me.

I think fun and silly music can be written with no pain. But my best "compositions" have some pain behind them.

Indeed, makes perfect sense, think I was just questioning people how they want life easy. I do too, but not that easy just reasonably easy. Not make believe easy.

@TheHorse Yeah, we do, plus my family pissing me off right now because not in easy mode. I just wanted to relax and now I want more relaxing medicine. Oh well, that is my problem, gonna have to figure out how to deal with this. One day I will figure it this out.

Best songs have emotions I love songs but I do not like when there is a lot of autotune

@GnomeXRayYeah, I do not mind a tiny bit, but a lot less impactful when its all auto tune. I think why acoustical music became such a hit and still a thing here I believe.

In my opinion, if music is written without pain, it will have an effect on people, there should be codes related to the human mind in music, there should be pain and suffering in those who write music, then a person who hears music will understand the pain of music, if he writes simple music, he will hear it and fall.

@Mukhammad That makes sense, although I think we all hate pain. Its apart of life though and how you can learn from up and maybe even use it to your advantage and hopefully one day have less pain. Also welcome to Mylot and hope there is no pain for you here, just good times.
