Gas becomes almost $1 per liter in Nigeria and everyone is Trekking to work

Its a pathetic situation in Nigeria these days as most people now resort to trekking to their destinations as opposed to taking public transport. This is a country where the minimum wage is less than $40 a month. Prices of food and all other stuff have also risen and the poor are being chocked to death on daily basis. What annoys people most is that the lawmakers of the country are the highest paid in the world.

Government officials always vote themselves raises instead of helping the poor.

The labour organization wants the government to increase minimum wage, instead the government is proposing some pallatives like giving people $10 every month, which si ridiculous.
