Where did the weekend go?

Our Saturday was spent helping Son2 and GF move out of their apartment. GF's stuff went to the duplex she is sharing with two girls from her graduate school class. Son2's stuff went into storage. No, it wasn't a breakup. Son2 will be staying with GF until he moves to the DC area in September, provided Congress gets off its lazy, idiotic, partisan backside and passes a budget. The starting date of his fellowship at the military medical university attached to Walter Reed depends on when those self-serving, entitled, attention-seeking, blankety-blanks get their act together. Am I bitter? I think it's time to revive my DRAIN campaign. Don't Relect Anyone In November. Sunday I spent doing reading and writing homework for the seminar I've been taking. We have one more virtual session next Sunday and then it's over. I've truly enjoyed the seminar and have learned a lot. Now, it's Monday. For my former teaching colleagues at my last school, it is the first day of the last week of summer break. Their workdays start on 8/7. I'll be camping at Jordan Lake that week.
