Coronation post-box topper

I meant to show you this ages ago.
I’ve mentioned before that there seems to be a ‘thing’ these days for decorating the tops of post boxes with bespoke hand-made decorations, usually crocheted, though sometimes knitted, and generally seasonal.
Naturally there had to be some to celebrate the coronation – the first in over 70 years!
This one was a particular favourite, someone had obviously put in a lot of time and effort.
I wonder what happens to them all afterwards?

For a post box I just have a four inch diameter pipe stuck on the gate.

It is cute, but I would be concerned that weather, people, and other things would ruin it outside.

That does look beautiful! And definitely a lot of time, effort and care has gone into making them. They are precious and should be treated well, even after the coronation.
