India defeated West Indies in test cricket and then in one day series 2 - 1. It was India's junior brigade who made the difference with Hardik, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan with the bat and Kuldip Yadav, Shardul Thakur and others with the ball. India will now play 5 T20 matches against West Indies in the Carribean.

Ishan Kishan, Shardul and Kuldeep were the standout players.
SKY still seems to be in the T20 mode though.

Yet some of the experimentation was confusing.
If Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not to be played, why were they selected?
There was a lack of clarity about SKY and Sanju Samson's batting position.
Plus in one match, Axar Patel was sent at number 4, which would be a highly unlikely scenario in the World Cup or Asia Cup.
Still a win would give good confidence.
