Police in New York state corral a loose hog running on a highway

A driver who was on the roads in Rensselaer County in upstate New York saw a hog running loose after the hog ran away from his home earlier on Monday.
The driver whose name was not released contacted the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) to report the incident of the loose hog on the road.
Deputies with the RCSO managed to stay with the hog until the owner was found and he was able to reunite with the hog who goes by the name Gilbert was reunited with his owner.
How did Gilbert get out of his owner's home is not known.

All of these animals running loose on the highway make me nervous. I'm glad Gilbert wasn't hurt.

That concerns me as well seeing animals like cats and dogs running around on the streets as well.

Again here I have to say too bad no one can talk to animals, Perhaps that hog had something on his mind that made him run amok, I am glad it ended well,
