My cheese omelette / myLot

I have been practicing cooking eversince our household help for forty years passed away. She taught me a lot of recipes and ways to cook that our family loves to eat. Sad thing there is one recipe or cooking style she failed to teach me and that is doing omelettes. I can see there are a lot of types and styles of omelette. There are meat omelette, pork , beef etc. there are seafood too I think . But this one omelette I made is cheese omelette. Im so happy I made it . I find it hard to make omelettes before but I was surprised that I was able to make it . Mom , brother and my niece loved it. I placed big chunks of cheese inside and it taste good when it melts . Lotters, are there cooking style or recipe that you cant do or is afraid to do ? Have you tried doing it many times and failed or succeeded?

I cook from so many years there are very few things that I do not feel comfortable to make, meringues are difficult to make.

@iKONICNoona You can make them colored or plain white, they are a pain to make, because the temperature of the oven is critical.

I am a fairly good cook when I put my mind to it. One thing I cannot seem to make is stuffed manicotti. I always ruin the pasta tubes.

@DWDavis Exactly my attitude too at times , but it is my role in our household so I have to be very diligent and imaginative in preparing our meals or else they won't eat or even taste it.

@AmbiePam I'm not good at baking if baking counts as cooking too and Im not that good with preparibg pasta dishes , if its just noodles its easy but with baking Im poor with measurements same thing as Im poor with Math during school days hahaha

Through the youtube application I learn and am good at cooking, but when making cakes I often fail to make them.

@Virabulan Oh true ! From the internet and some apps too we can learn new recipes and instructions how to cook .I also watch some of those too for techniques and cool recipes.
