Landscapers in Exeter Township Pennsylvania located a two and a half foot alligator in the Burks County Creek on Wednesday.
The landscapers then contacted the Exeter Police Department to report the incident. The police officers then took the small alligator was placed in a plastic tub and taken to a jail cell where the police contacted the Animal Rescue League (ARL) of Berks County when the officials of the ARL took the alligator to the shelter where the owner of the alligator contacted them to inform them that his alligator who is named Fluffy had left home during a flash flood in the area last month.
Since alligators can be kept by their owners in Pennsylvania, Fluffy was returned to her owner safe and sound.

That is what I am thinking since in Baton Rouge it is forbidden anyone to own an alligator.

@Deepizzaguy I wouldn’t want to run upon an alligator in the creek.

That is strange for an owner to an alligator Fluffy like my nephew named his cat "Muenster Cheese." since she looks like the cheese but with a darker coat.

What is the owner going to do when Fluffy is 6 feet long? Funny that Fluffy ended up in jail. Must have been bailed out. I'm glad Fluffy is back home.

That is a good question since it reminds of the "Planet Of The Apes" movie when an owner of a baby ape named Caesar grew up to adulthood in the movie.

That's messed up, was taken to jail for just existing.
I am glad he is all good though. Funny name for a Alligator, "Fluffy."

I agree with you that the name is odd for an alligator.
