Potatoes are farmed as rotational crop in many areas.
They provide a good cash crop for the farmers.

Yes and some agricultural scientists have said that increased daily potato consumption in India could potentially meet the hunger needs of so many Indians.

We always planted a big field of potatoes when I was a kid. Our family was big so we needed a big harvest every year.
Have you considered making extra money by hiring your elder son out to work in the potato fields?

thanks DE I am jealous about you. I am not the owner of the potato farm. I would definitely have engaged my elder son. Your potatoes in USA might be of bigger sizes

I love potatoes. Hong Kong does not produce much potatoes locally. Most of the potatoes in Hong Kong are imported from China, the US, Canada.
