In the monsoon the new potato plantations look green.

Potatoes are planted twice a year. They are planted in the winter. They are also planted in the monsoon. There are cover planting by farming brinjal and carrot adjacent to the farms. They grow well in the countryside of Bengal.

Potatoes are farmed as rotational crop in many areas. They provide a good cash crop for the farmers.

We always planted a big field of potatoes when I was a kid. Our family was big so we needed a big harvest every year. Have you considered making extra money by hiring your elder son out to work in the potato fields?

thanks DE I am jealous about you. I am not the owner of the potato farm. I would definitely have engaged my elder son. Your potatoes in USA might be of bigger sizes

I love potatoes. Hong Kong does not produce much potatoes locally. Most of the potatoes in Hong Kong are imported from China, the US, Canada.
