Do you believe in Black Magic?

Now, this is the topic which have been revolving in my head for last few days...I had actually seen a movie where the effects are exaggerated. But I've heard of people practicing it for their own benefit. I've also heard that since it deals with negative energy, it's not easy to perform spells without proper knowledge and is always safe to have a medium do it for you.
Well, these are the practices which nobody tells you upfront, but is in existence very much. What do you know about Black Magic? Any small spells which you do or know people have done?

I don't know anything about black magic though I've seen it in the movies, heard about its existence from different people in my society. I do believe that it is done only to harm others.

@Rimps85 Voodoo is a sort of religion for the Haitians. Voodoo, means"spirit", at a voodoo ceremony, believers gather outdoors to make contact with the spirits who have various functions running the universe.
During the ceremony, the priest sacrifices a sanctified chicken or other animal. Participants then ask the spirits for advice or help with problems.
