Saturday morning work. Preparing for tomorrow.

Good morning, dear friends. I woke up to a beautiful sunny morning. I started to watch the news, turned them off for a while so that I would not get so depressed and went to the kitchen for breakfast. I put the chickpeas to boil in a normal pot as they were just a few. And then I came back with my second cup of coffee after shaming Luna for being so fat. In a month more I´ll call her vet to see her (maybe she even needs some shots) and I´ll ask her about her weight. I have seen dogs with all sorts ofhealth problems due to overweight when they are older. I´ll use my mini pimer to make the hummus in half an hour more. The garbanzos are cooked but I want them to be less hot so that they don´t destroy the gadget. Whenever I go to the kitchen I bring something to the table that I´m setting for tomorrow. I decided against using my best dishes. I have seen some being destroyed by a younger generation that has not been taught table manners. In many places people are not even using a table for dinner or cutlery anylonger. I guess I´m too old. I don´t mean, of course, what happens in other countries where there are other customs. I´ll read a couple of your posts and then I´ll go and make the hummus. See you.
