A Pleasant Surprise

Last month I kept checking the power bill site. Our Budget Pay plan was supposed to change our monthly amount in July. I actually forgot to pay the bill and freaked out this month when I saw it. Ikes! I am very good about paying the rent, utilities, and cable bills right away each month. I finally found out what our new monthly amount will be and was rather flabbergasted. Instead of it going up like I was sure it would, it went down significantly. Weird. It went down $23. Now I'm wondering if the rent will do the same. We just sent in our paperwork this last week.

That is really great, even if you cannot find those savings elsewhere, take it where you can. We do everything in our ability to keep our power bill as low as we can, we turn lights off when we are not in the room, and rely on sunlight during the day so keep the shades up unless it is too hot, then we pull them.

Yes, take it where you can. My grandson is doing a lot better at turning off lights.
