We have a cherry tree that produces tart cherries. The tree mostly yields in the rainy season and therefore we hardly make use of the cherries. We do have yet another crop around summer. We have made juice and even wine but have never given much importance to their benefit Browsing through the Net I see they are loaded with health properties specially the juice can help those with gout These cherries being tart cannot be eaten but they can be used in salads, wines and juices. I will wait for the next yield and will use them.

Some fruits can be very tart indeed. It's good if you can take advantage of some of the health benefits.

There was some sportscaster I used to listen to who sang the praises of tart cherry juice. I don’t know just how tart his cherry juice was though.

Cherries are my favorite but they must be black and not too tart.

I don't think I have tried tart cherries. I usually eat sweet cherries.
