Friday Morning Brief

Pretty soon I'll need to call these afternoon briefs. We have a nice day again today. Very low humidity and temps not getting out of the 70s, We have an air quality alert until Monday morning. You can tell it. The sky has that hazy look to it. Not as blue as it's been. Today started out well. I got 8 miles on the bike during the exercise group this morning. It's easy to do when they work out to the longer tape. I might have been able to get 9 miles, but I didn't want to push it. Missy gave me a moment this morning. I went over to let her out before I started on the notifications and couldn't find her. I had let her out twice this morning. I thought one more time before Daddy got here. I called him to find out if he had her. No. When I went back over, there she was waiting for me in the doorway. Where she was, I haven't a clue. I looked over the entire apartment for her. Her daddy will be bringing her by in a little bit because he has an appointment with the VA. So much for my temporary scare. So, my plans for the day include taking care of Missy. Mom will be home on Tuesday. Working on notifications, a book, and just relaxing. It's Friday. A good day to relax and enjoy the weather as long as it's nice. Commercials are all about Back-to-School, so you know the cooler weather is coming and with it the holidays and winter. I know some of you are getting ready for school along with the teachers we have here, too. I know you don't want to see the summer end. Okay, that's my day. I'm going to enjoy my day with you.
