Thanks to the concern of an animal lover who saw a young man carrying a wallaby on the Boardwalk on the amusement park Coney Island which is located in the Brooklyn area of New York City on Saturday evening. the New York Police Department (NYPD) officers answered the call. The NYPD went to the area where they received the emergency call from the witness of the wallaby being found snug in a soft bag safe and sound. The police did locate the 22 year old man who was seen holding the wallaby in the area of Coney Island. The police officer handed the 22 year old man a ticket since it is against the law in New York City to possess a wild animal. The wallaby was taken to the Animal Care Center in New York City. The condition of the wallaby that was rescued by the police was not released if the animal is healthy or injured. Link is msn.com/en-us/news.cri...

They're not even native to the US. I'm glad the police took care of the wallaby.

That is what I was thinking that wallabies are not natives of our nation. Most likely a tourist brought the wallaby here.

So is it revealed whether the man was going to sell the animal? Good that the animal was given timely care.

The police report did not mention if the male was going to try to sell the wallaby..
