In my former job, I have a 40-minute drive one way. It's a good, picturesque drive but since it's in a rural area it can be boring after a while. In order to stay awake and alert, I decided to turn to listening to podcasts, and I ended up turning to paranormal podcasts to get me going. My favorites are The Dark Paranormal and Unexplained Encounters. It gets me through my commute and while I admit that sometimes it left me scared, it definitely entertained me. It helped passed the time and it has become a conversation piece after finding out that some folks at work also subscribe to the same podcasts. I would like to say that I maintain an open mind, meaning I do not necessarily believe 100% nor do I say that I am absolutely a non-believer. Let's say I am open to the idea that there are certain things that cannot be explained by science or logic. Now that my situation has changed and I will no longer have that kind of commute, I still listen to these podcasts whenever I am doing chores or whenever I have some downtime. I am just hooked to the presenters and the stories that they tell.
