Almost offered my condolences to the wrong person

I received an update from a person in facebook that her parent had recently passed. I originally thought it was coming from my brother's staff I got confused I thought she deleted her latest post. Then last night I asked her if she lost a family member and tried to hide it. But then she was shocked. Later this afternoon I realized that her name was same with the staff except her middle is exposed. Well it was actually a mylotter's father in law. I've met their family ones in the mylot meet up back in 2010. I offered my condolences later. I hope one day we meet again, i know it's been more than a decade.. Take care every one

Mistakes can happen. I'm glad you realized it before offering condolences to the wrong person.

I might have been experience some sort of hallucination and i mistake their last name to be the same.

Yikes, that would not be good, glad you caught that. I think someone did that to me. People always make little jokes or send joke memes to me through Facebook messenger. This guy who never messages me sent me one and I make a little joke back and I bet he was like dammit that was meant for someone else. Sorry for the person who lost their father in law.

He's not active here anymore but i see their updates in facebook from time to time and I feel sad when they lost a family member.

Sorry to hear about your friend's relative, but glad that you were able to sort it out. It would have been nice to be able to attend the 2010 Mylot meetup - I was still in the Philippines during that year.
