Happy Birthday to My Old Man in Heaven

Today is my late father's birthday. After posting this, I am going to the church and offering a prayer for him and the rest of the loved ones who passed away, including my lovely mother. Let me share the throwback photo of my parents' civil wedding. The trivial fact of this photo is that all of them are in heaven now. We are going to buy some meals that they loved and share them with family and friends today. How's life going on in your own world? Do you still check out the old photos?

It is a wonderful photo, and I am glad you were able to share it (and that it showed up). It’s funny you started this discussion because my sister just texted me a picture of my late mother she just came across.

Happy birthday to your father! And thanks for sharing the picture, it's so lovely and so precious. Old black and white photos have this certain charm that no digital photo can compete with. I do not have any like this, but my grandma's house have boxes of these. Someday, I hope to have some of it, especially when my parents were still young.

Before we moved out from our old house, I took the old albums with me.There are others but they are in my granny's hometown. I wish I could get them as well and hope you could, too.

I am grateful that some rain came this evening to cool off the extreme hot weather today. I do see photos of my late grandmother that are on the wall inside my relatives home.

@Shavkat It did rain this morning before the sun came up today. The last time i saw my late grandmother was in 1984 when she is her early 90s in the interior of Panama in her former home in the hills.
