Pennsylvania Park Manager Sarah Lindgren was driving in her auto in Cross Park on Sunday when she a cub struggling to breathe since the cub had a plastic container stuck on his head. Sarah took a lot of caution as she was able to remove the plastic container from the head of the cub who must have been very hungry when he stuck his head inside of the plastic container to eat a meal. Sarah was able to remove the plastic container from the cub that she believes is around eight months of age. How long was the cub stuck inside the plastic container is not clear. The cub was able to climb a tree as he is looking for his mother. Since Sarah has experience dealing with wildlife and there was no cell phone service in the area, she was able to remove the plastic container from the head of the cub in this case without assistance of other park rangers. Poor bear cub. So glad she removed the container from the bear. How horrifying.

Having a container on top of the head of any small animal is very scary.
