It's a warm rainy day. Hurricane Ideal is working its way out of our hair. We're getting the literal tail end of it coming across. Surprisingly, we haven't lost power, which is something to be thankful for. But it's not out of here, yet. Tomorrow it should be completely cleared out. Right now I'm just home with no plans to go out because of all the wind and rain. Chilly wants food. But, when doesn't he? Cats am I right?

We're still dealing with rain bands here in Gainesville, but we got really lucky and there were no major issues in our part of Florida. Just lots of wind and rain. Glad to hear things aren't too bad in your area.

@MarieCoyle Thank you! I'm looking at the radar right now and it looks like the last band of rain from the hurricane is passing through our area, so things should slowly start returning to normal in the next hour or so.

I am glad you are safe, Kayla. Hopefully, the power will stay on and you can just have an at-home day. Chilly will appreciate that, more attention for him. Like you said, cats!

@MarieCoyle I like going out to play Pokemon go everyday. Helps me stay active. But, with the wind, rain and the fact I would have had to do it manually, I wasn't going to risk it.

Mine have eyed the dark day suspiciously but are still eating like horses. I am glad to see the bad weather is going away,
