Vivek Ramaswamy is running for president of the US of A! And he wants college students to run a mile!!! He proposes they run a mile as part of the SAT entrance test. This might be no easy feat. Many students are very smart but some are a little over weight! What Do You Think? Could you run a mile to get into college?!?!

@db20747 I am 72, the doctor told me that I can walk as much as I want, but NO jogging and no running. I usually walk 12,000 steps every day.

Ramaswamy is as big a huckster and con man as Trump is. He has absolutely no idea what it takes to be President. A look at his past shows he's a die-hard fascist and supports a Caste system for the US much like the one India is trying so hard to overcome. The only reason he's rising in the poles is because he is so much like Trump in who and what he hates, Trump's followers are being lured to Ramaswamy's camp and diving into his delusions as a replacement for the multiply indicted insurrectionist with the bad hair and fake tan. As for running the mile, Vivek would probably allow no accommodations for the differently abled. He might rather they didn't take up space in college classrooms.

Read he's seen as a runner up to Trump. He's played the stock game very well. Worth about 950 million.

@db20747 Yes. Like TFG, he scammed his investors. They lost a ton of money, and he got richer.

@DWDavis seemed like he was on to the next big thing. Sounded really high tech. Especially pharmaceuticals. He made the right connections and used the right language to get investors.

I think if all the students were required to run a mile before they went to college, we'd understand why P.E. should never be cut from schools.

This is a strange statement I will definitely run a mile to get the seat . He should consider this & announce something tolerable for students

What does running a mile have to do with the SAT entrance test.

Aside from some exceptional cases due to illness and other health conditions I find it an absolute disgrace that a teenager can't run a mile. As we (that's the entire Western world) seem to be in the midst of a mental health crisis there isn't enough emphasis placed on the role exercise can play in helping people mentally as well as physically.
