A chemical plant in Ohio is the source of a foul odor in the air

I know if I was living in Avon Ohio and there was a foul odor in the air I would be concerned about getting ill from the fumes in the air.
The officials with the City of Avon Fire Department did find the cause of the foul odor that caused concerned residents in the same city was the cause of the gas odor was a faulty gasket at the Lubrizol Advanced Materials chemical plant on Monday.
The fire officials determined that the chemical that was released in the air was ethyl acetate which releases an odor.
An official with the chemical plant did respond to the concern of the community that the chemical leak problem was taken care of to make sure that the community will be safe,

It's good for it's being attended too. We have a sugar mill here and it exhausts bad odor every milling season. No air pollution control so far. The foul air just stops after milling time.

Chemical leaks are dangerous since my relatives and myself used to live near a water plant and scrap yard which on rare occasions a loud blast from a chemical plant would have an accident that scared people in the area.

@Nakitakona After Hurricane Delta hit the area in October 2020 the housing authority evicted everyone in the neighborhood due to the damages of the property in March 2021.
