I had read in an article that a restaurant had turned into a futuristic one.The main theme is to let Japanese experience life in the future. The Neo Shinjuku Atsushi is the most updated futuristic izaka restaurant in Japan. In addition, they serve some vacuum-packed foods, such as "retort burgers" and mashed potatoes with cheeseburgers."A burger that does need to be stored in a fridge. You can also include the coffee. Here is the catch: It can also serve unique drinks that were created by the ChatGPT on menus, such as cocktails with bees, scorpions, and seahorses. If you are a foodie and adventurous, then it is the best place for you. Which restaurant menu do you think is the strangest? What would you say about your favorite restaurant's atmosphere? Image Credit: mymodernmet.com

I still cannot imagine how it would be for now. I just know that Japan is very good at innovating things in everything to make lives simpler.

@Shavkat I see Well Japan has been a very resilient country too. They are like our place that are bombarded with many calamities.

I heard from my Japanese students that their economy is not good due to the aftermath of the pandemic.

I would be interested in seeing the Vacuum packed foods. Retort Burgers would also be of interest to me. The Bee/Scorpion Cocktails sound a bit nasty, but who knows a few people might try them ! Intresting share !!

I am with you. If there is a chance of having some of these burgers I would not have a second thought except for the cocktails.

I think I would be just fine without bees, scorpions, or seahorses in my drinks. Especially bees! I mean they are in dire need of protection nowadays. It’s a nice gimmick, but I’d pass. I went to a museum recently that was fine dining, but the menu sure was weird. It had obscure vegetables on the menu I’d never heard of, and I only wish I could remember the names.

I also would like to try the foods mentioned, but not the cocktails. I might have allergic reactions if I consumed them.

That is a very unique restaurant. Don't think I would eat the bees menu, but the good old fashioned mashed potatoes, yes. Homelike restaurants like Applebee's where I sit down and feel at home is my favorite kind of restaurant.

My cousin recently opened a ramyun restaurant where one can choose among the packed noodles and vacuum packed condiments and food items like crab stick, shitake mushroom. Customer will choose their ingredients and cook it themselves.

I think I can't. I assumed some Chinese people love to eat strange foods like this, right?

@Shavkat Depends on individual. I want to know what type of unique drinks are created by ChatGPT. :)

A way to attract clients and serve "OLD" food that has been already cooked, placed in a vacuumed bad, pop it in the microwave and serve in a few minute. I cannot believe that people go.
