As many of you have probably already heard today Danny Masterson received his sentencing of two 15-year sentences to be run consecutively as well as having to register as a sex offender. He is now 47 so he's going to be an old man if he even gets out in 30 years. He was found guilty of two forcible rapes and now has been sentenced. I know a lot of ex-Scientologists that will be very happy. The third Jane Doe was given the opportunity to give an impact statement although that count was declared a mistrial. Masterson has said all along that all three of these encounters were consensual. The show he starred in, "That '70s Show, was still on the air at the time of all three alleged rapes. I'm so glad he was found guilty and got the sentence that he got. I think the real horror in all this is that he was protected all along by The Church of Scientology and never lost any of his standing in the church.

I wonder what happens between him and Scientology now . . . sickening how they backed him up all this time. What a shame because I liked his acting . . . but definitely NOT how he acted in real life! Glad he was found guilty and won't be getting away with this!!

He is in good standing with Scientology. They are notorious for protecting those members who have money or are popular celebs. And the victims are made to do ethics because it is something they did that caused this to happen to them. Can you believe it?!
I doubt he will get out of prison. They say it is a life sentence which I think he deserved.

@celticeagle Scientology is disgusting. Period! Danny gets exactly what he deserves - Scientology can't save him now (I hope).

There are other women who say he did this to them. Many in fact.

It is a shame that Danny Masterson kept his standing with the church despite being convicted of raping three females during his time on the television program.

He raped many other women than just the three in this court proceeding. The church protects these people and the victims are made to do counseling because it is their fault this happened as far as the teachings say.

@Deepizzaguy ..........It sure is. And he feels he did nothing wrong and really copped an attitude during the impact statements.

@celticeagle It is a shame that Danny could not show restraints dealing with women.

I watch several favorite streams on YouTube. The stories are just ridiculous. Like what happened to Serge and the story of Lisa Ferguson. I think that was her last name.

@RubyHawk ........Masterson was on That '70s Show. He didn't leave the Church and is still in good standing. I think the woman you are talking about is Leah Remini.

@celticeagle The only one I remember in particular was the one who was on a TV show. She was a member of the church. When she left the church she told about all the horrors the members were subjected to. She played the wife of the heavy mail man that always wore short pants.

I'm glad he got what he deserved. I looked at his picture and am pretty sure I remember who he is. Have a good day.
