Two of my favorite shows blocked

I was really looking forward to new seasons of Life Below Zero and Life Below Zero: Next Generation.
Since Spectrum (my cable provider) can't reach an agreement with Disney all Disney and ABC owned channels are blocked.
National Geographic where these shows air is owned by ABC and so all the programming is not available.
I wonder when an agreement will be reached finally and if I will be able to re-watch the missed episodes.
Weirdly enough, the DVR still records the new episodes but all we get is a full hour of the message displayed on all the blocked channels letting us know what's going on
I am really bummed.

Hubs watches that; and I have seen quite a few episodes of it. They probably will settle. Hopefully you will get to see the episodes you missed. Have a good day.

A few years ago, we canceled our cable service and upgraded our internet. Then, we took a careful look at the various streaming services and picked the ones with the shows we were most interested in watching. We are now paying less than 1/2 for both internet and streaming than what we were paying for cable.

@lovebuglena Would an HD antenna be an option for you? It would give you access to live TV and local network affiliates.

I want to be able to watch shows as the new seasons air. And I want access to live TV with the option to record stuff. This makes it harder to cut cable.

Have you tried subscribing to Disney Plus, or something? It will allow you to see the blocked content.

They say it is streaming on Disney+ but people on FB have said that the new season is not there.

I've not watched it since the beginning. I didn't know about this show until some years after I met hubby.

I hope they work it out soon. They did something with Fubo TV where we can get a free trial of Fubo TV. Not sure on the details. But I am not sure I wanna do that.
