Obama's younger daught caught smoking- Will children eventually pick up their parent's bad habits? / myLot

I saw the picture of Obama's younger daughter smoking with two of her friends and it appears she was cool with it. It seems she knew their was someone taking the pictures. Was she looking for some attention or is it a usual story of children picking up their parents' bad habits?

Ahaha. I'm not American so I had no idea how old Obama's daughters are. But reading the post I thought maybe they were teenagers at most. Then I saw the responses.

Apparently, she's an adult already. And while most people know smoking is not healthy, well... she's old enough to decide for herself on that matter.

@moirai One of his daughters is 25 and the "young" is 22... I cannot see the problem here.

You are right, but his father quit smoking long time ago, only for this teenage girl to pick up the habit.

She is a WOMAN, not a "child" so she is enough grown up to take her own decisions. Both the parents of my husband smoked,. he never picked up this habit.
