Having grown up with country music, it was inevitable that some funny country songs would make it to this list of songs that I found humorous. There will be more, you’ve been warned. That’s what Junior Brown seems to be dealing with here, when an old flame shows up. While Brown never explains what illegalities this woman engaged in (“trouble’s what you’re lookin’ like ‘cause trouble’s where you’ve been”), he knows he just wants no part of it (“one of us will have to leave this town”). If you ever get to see Junior Brown live, take advantage of it. He’s a great performer. Super nice guy, too.
