A good friend moved to another city,i hate separation.

Yesterday a good and close friend of mine moved to another city,it would take 2hours by coach from his new flat to my place.I didn't have a private car in this ciy.Coach or train is available transportation. We are good friend, there are around 10 million people in this city, but i only had very few real good friend here.Maybe you feel 2hours away is not far. However, the coach set off one time every an hour, plus wait time at coach station,I have to spend 3.5hours reaching his place.A commute will take 7hours.God,how sad the long distance is.We clearly knew we will seldom meet since yesterday. We knew each other over three years, and get along well with each other. Now it's time to separate.I hated separation and feel very sad at each separation.Though i felt happy he got a higher pay job at another city,he left here for better job.I wish him a bright career,But almost i lost him.Anyway we have to get used to separation.Nobody can stay with you always other than family.

Seperation is a part of life. Technology makes life a little easier. So, you can keep in touch if you want.

@kareng ,My friend is far younger than me,i am 42 old, don't wanna change job at my age.But he is younger,he had ambitions to chase bright future.Btw,in our country, above age of 40 is not easy to find good job. Age is curx for career here.

There is a separation in distance, but hopefully your friendship will always remain. There will be much to look forward to when you do have the chance to visit each other . . . maybe you could even meet half way! In the meantime, as Kayla mentioned, you can still contact each other thanks to any of our devices . . . even daily!

I'm so sorry for both of you. We have a good friend who lives about 800 miles from us now. We talk on the phone and text, but we miss her. Hoping she'll come back for a visit sometime. She'll have to fly, it would take about 14 hours to drive.

Unitl now,I made many good friends, they suddenly enter my life, and one day suddenly left.Although we still can communicate with each other by devices.but the feeling is different if they stay in same city with me.Last year one of my classmate left for another province.anyway, wish they were going well wherever.

@jefferson126 You must keep a good mindset about it, despite you don't see each other so often you are still friends and that is what matters.

The separation anxiety indicated you value feeling and friends,it's nice of you.We had another way that taking a taxi to his place, the journey by taxi just take 4hours.But taxi cost above twice money as much as coach. We won't choose taxi.
