Gray and Dreary Monday Morning

It is a cool, grey, overcast Monday morning here in eastern NC. The clouds are expected to clear out and leave us with a sunny afternoon. I will spend part of today packing for my fishing trip with Son2. Tomorrow, after I finish a stint volunteering at a fundraising activity at my old school, Son2 and I will head for the coast and will be there until Friday. Other than packing and prepping our fishing gear, I will be writing most of the day. How is your Monday shaping up?

You must be looking forward to what you know will be a good time. Not too much is going on here, just clearing out junk, and trying to get things in order for company tomorrow.

@DWDavis The small stream running along our garden was scary yesterday evening. I have never seen it like that.

We weren't able to get a campsite, so I rented a cottage for three nights just up the street from the pier.
