Wellness Visit

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I hope well. Today I had my "wellness visit" appointment with the doctor. I always dislike those because they ask so many questions that I don't want to answer. Today's didn't seem as bad with the questions at least. But I still couldn't answer many because of my anxiety. Then the doc came in and told me to lose weight. To work out at least 3x a week for 30 minutes. I don't really want to do that, but I know I need to lose over 100 pounds. Glad that is over for another year, but next I have my endocrinology appointment in October. The doc won't be happy because I still haven't lost any. I think I need the highest dose of Mounjaro, if that will be covered. The 7.5 seems to make me feel more full, but still isn't helping as much as it should. Have you ever taken meds like that? Also, what do you think of everything?

So when you are too anxious to answer..you just freeze up and sit there do you..I am not mocking, I am curious what they do then..they could let you write your answer couldnt they? Every doctor is always on about losing weight..I think they need to lose weight first before telling anyone else about weight..they could lose their big heads Courtney No I had no meds like that you are saying.

Yes, I do freeze up....my husband would answer when I couldn't. I guess they'd just wait till I could give an answer, I guess. Well that would make sense, if they were overweight themselves lol Neither of my doctors are overweight though. I have been overweight since I was like 10 years old though so used to it now. Well that is good you haven't had to have those meds.

Got so much to lose, it's overwhelming. I don't really know how to take care of myself.

Working out would help a lot.

It is hard to work out though because of the pain I get and the out of breath feeling.

Your doctor's right. Working out three times a week for thirty minutes will help you lose weight.

I honestly don't think 30 mins three times a week will do much.

I've never taken meds light that. My doctor never tells me I need to lose weight. She knows that I know! Have a good day.

That is okay. Well that is good they don't tell you. It is depressing when they do.
