A garter snake that is considered harmless managed to sneak into the San Jose Mineta Airport in San Jose California last Tuesday afternoon at a baggage terminal that did cause some passengers inside of the airport to get into a panic mode. When a passenger reported seeing the snake in the baggage area, airport officials were called to remove the snake out of the baggage area to take the animal outside where it went back to his home safe and sound without any harm the same day. It appears that the snake wanted to get out of his area where he lives and enter a building. Link is upi.com 20111694636196

@RebeccasFarm I would not know what a poisonous snake looks like at all.

I wonder why they want to go into buildings..wonder..I would think they would like their grass and swamps better. But oh well, what do I know. The lives of snakes.

I'm sure some of the travellers would have been very upset about a snake being loose in the baggage area.

The garter snake would do more good outside eating bugs and slugs. I'm glad they put him back where he belongs.

I am in agreement you that a snake belongs outdoors and not inside a building.
