20 September - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from warm, sunny Green Bay Wisconsin, USA. It's been another busy day here. I'm thankful I got up when I did to get it all started. I'm thankful for the nap I got at 5:30 this morning. It was an hour of needed sleep. I'm thankful for the exercise class and the five miles I got on the bike this morning. I'm really hurting right now from all the exercise I've been getting. My right leg joint is painful. The doctor said it will work its way out, so I'm pressing in. It's just taking longer, and that's all right. I'm thankful for rock painting today. I painted four rocks and brought home five rocks. One for my newest book, Destination Love. I'd take a picture and show you, but until I know the picture glitch is fixed, I won't post pictures. Those who have seen it like it. I'm thankful I have all my steps for the day. The day's not over yet, so I'll have a good amount by the time I go to bed tonight. I'm thankful I got over to the used tire shop this morning right after the exercise class. It was reasonable. I've gotten all my tires from them. So now, I have no worries about driving. I'm thankful I talked to my son this afternoon after calling him this morning. He will take me to my sister's on Friday morning. So, I won't be here much on Friday, and not until late on Saturday. That's one worry I won't need to think about. I'm not a worrier, but the traffic scares me with it as fast as it is. I'm thankful I talked to my sister when I got home to let her know I'll show up in the morning. It should be a fun day as she's also babysitting her grandchildren. Okay, that's my day. Busy.
