Superhero Movies: Yay or Nay / myLot

Superhero movies have dominated the film industry in recent years, with a plethora of new releases and franchises. Which of the latest superhero movies have left the biggest impact on you, and what makes them stand out in the ever-expanding genre? I particularly looooved Black Panther. It's sad that the main actor died but they've fittingly made a decent sequel despite it. I hope wherever he is, he's proud of the work he has done and his co-stars. Furthermore, how do you see these modern superhero films reflecting the evolving expectations of audiences and the cultural shifts they address, and do they offer new storytelling angles in this cinematic universe? I wish they can create a streaming type of "choose your own adventure" movie similar to what Black Mirror did in Netflix with their "Bandersnatch" special but with a Marvel or DC hero instead. That would be interesting :)

@inkyuboz I have seen the Black Phanter and you are right one of the most good and relatable movie ever made. That was the last one Ive seen so far with Hollywood because I shifted to asian dramas like kdrama, cdrama and lakorn or thai dramas .

Black Panther has a really good overarching theme about real-world issues but with a superhero twist. I like how they're handling it. It's probably the most "serious" among the Marvel movies aside from Scarlet Witch which is handling mental health themes.
