Hello friends and good morning!!
I'm up early as the daughter had to head back out at 8:30 for the pool tournament. Her team is still alive and I hope that they will pull off the big win and make this weekend all worthwhile. I know she will pay on Monday morning with having to get up early and head to work. She didn't get in until 2 am and not much sleep. They will continue to play tomorrow if they keep winning today.
I have the youngest granddaughter awake and wild already. I fixed her pancakes and bananas for breakfast at her request. She ate good but didn't eat all of it! I told her she needed to eat if she wanted to go shopping later.
My grandson, who is 17 is just beginning to show life today. I hear him moving around in his room. He came home early from his school's football game last night due to a storm moving through. It's homecoming weekend and that just through a bid damper and cloud over it--literally!! The dance is tonight. He didn't ask anyone to the dance because he is interested in a young lady in his online gaming group that lives in another state. Very interesting!

My day has went well getting ready for dinner my boyfriend is. cooking steak on the grill and I made a salad to go with it and our friend brought some goose to try can’t wait to try it. I hope the swimming tournament goes well.

It wasn't a swimming match. Shooting pool!! I got a laugh out of that because I was trying to think how you thought "swimming" and I said pool, not thinking about a swimming pool. Too funny!! They lost tonight so she made it home around 8 pm. That gives her a day off tomorrow before heading back to work on Monday!

@kareng I did enjoy the goose. Sorry to hear they lost glad you got a laugh out of my mistake I totally forgot pool a pool table not water.

I am! Lots of laughs here. My grand pup loves me. She is a husky. My daughter and I solved the mystery of why it was so cold in here last night. The grandson turned the thermostat way down. I got up to go to the bathroom once and came back to bed and my granddaughter had moved over on my side so far I couldn't get in bed! I had to change sides! She's a snuggler!! I thought my daughter had done it and she said no, it had to of been him.

@wolfgirl569 True!! Yep, the little Princess got up with hives today so hoping she doesn't have to go to Urgent Care or ER. Her brother got a double dose of allergies between our family and his father's family. She is not so bad, thank goodness.

I hope your daughter's tournament went well. Interesting about the online young lady for sure!! Nothing going on here. Will watch the Cleveland Browns play today. No other plans. Have a great day.

Sounds like a lovely day spent with your grand children.
A boy from church had a crush on a girl he met online, she lived in Oklahoma I believe. They "dated" though there were 1500 miles between them. She met a boy in her hometown and that was the end of their online relationship. I wish your grand son well with his friend.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. His last girlfriend who was local and same school as he was didn't last too long, just a couple of months. When I asked what happened he told me she was too needy. This came from the mouth of a 15 year old! He is 16 now and pretty mature for his age.
