The wily politician, Ross Greenway, was campaigning in his electorate, for re-election in his seat. He knocked on one door after another, and no one was home. Then, he went home himself, and he came out again around dinner time, then he found some people home. He said to them, "Vote for me, and I will make sure your concerns are my concerns." The man who opened the door sighed, and replied. "My concerns are nothing to do with you my friend, but belong to me in their all, in their all." "Your problem is my problem," the politician said. "We only start to think, when problems come to our door." "Problems are therefore a blessing in disguise, giving us new opportunities to think, in our lives." "Sure," the householder said. "But I am not in your game, so you could never understand my problems." "Goodbye," and with that, he shut the door on the political campaigner. The wily Politician grimaced, and muttered to himself. "An idiot like that makes the stupidity within Politics look clever." Photo Credit: The photo used in this article was sourced from the free media site, pixabay.com A wily Politician.

It is time for people to put such fair-weather politicians in their place. However, politicians are too thick-skinned to be hurt by such encounters. In poor countries, the politicians make merry selling dreams that they know will get them to power. Whether they can fulfill their promises is of no concern to them.

Yes, the Politicians know that they are only in a bad game, but they like to make it even badder, by inventing their own rules to the game, and so cheating the people that the game effects, even more.

@innertalks Now politics in most countries is a cesspool that even the wise dread to tread. It is getting murkier by the day. Then there are others where people are afraid to open their mouths unless they want to eat or drink! Very few are blessed to have leaders who really care.
