Employees at the New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth Massachusetts last Thursday when nearly 24 seagulls were rescued when the seagulls ended in a vat of used cooking oil when a vat of used cooking oil was in the back of a truck.
The seagulls were drawn to the smell of the cooking oil and when they wound up in the vat of oil, they could not fly away.
An official with the animal center rescued the seagulls and take them to the center for treatment.
It will take at least one hour for the seagulls to cleaned up and be able to fly back to their homes.

Getting stuck in oil for a swan is not good for them.
