I've been down town shopping again today.

This morning I went down town shopping again. Before I went out, a parcel came, and in it was a book about life drawing. That's when you draw people with a sitter infront of you rather than copying from photographs. Copying people from photographs is called figure drawing. It's a very good book and I will have a good look at it later. I also got a postcard from @Gilljane As I was about to go out to go shopping, I was getting my keys out and making sure I'd got the back door key by measuring it up against the front door key (because the back door key is slightly smaller than the front door key) when I noticed my front door key was bent out of shape! And it was my step-dad who did that, because it was fine when we came home from the big Tesco on Wednesday and I opened the front door with it! I take it out of the front and put it in the other side for my step-dad to lock the door again when all the bags are in the kitchen ready to be unpacked. And I hadn't used it since then. I did go out and get the wheelie bin after the bin man had been yesterday, and I was going to go out the front door, but I was going to use Mum's key that sits on the coffee table. But then I decided to go out the back door because it's harder then for any opportunists to see your door is unlocked. I don't know why I didn't notice my front door key was bent then when I was unlocking the back door then. Anyway, Mum told me to go and get a new key cut when I was down town. So, I took my Mum's key with me to get it cut from, because I don't think mine would be any good the way it was bent out of shape! I set off to go down town. I took my fleece with me incase I got cold, and my fan with me incase I got hot. It was a very nice sunny day, with a bit of a breeze. I went round the top path round Stowe Pool again. The first thing I did was go to the toilet by the Cathedral. After that I went to the Tesco down town and got strawberries and some Alpen with no added sugar for me. Then I went to Holland and Barrett and got some lemon sugar free sweets, some sugar free chic chip biscuits, and some liquorice for my Mum. I got 2 packets of the liquorice for me too, but I couldn't get any of the big packets of liquorice that we usually have, so I had to get some smaller packets instead. Next I headed off for Iceland. The street preacher was there on Market Street. The lady who was giving out tracts recognised me and said she loved the Answers magazine I gave her that time. She says she supports them, so I'm assuming she took out a subscription. She gave the one I gave her to her daughter, because she likes butterflies apparently. (There was an article in the magazine about butterflies.) I also told her I needed to get a key cut and I showed her my key that was bent out of shape! She asked me if I was still going to the same Church, and I said yes. I then went to Iceland and got a paella and a Hunters Chicken for my Mum. Then I went across the street to Timpsons to get my key cut. I don't know what he thought when I showed him the bent one! He cut the new key using my Mums. It cost £9. After that I went back up to WH Smith to look for a Leisure Painter magazine. I haven't been able to get one from the big Tesco for 2 weeks now. So I got a Leisure Painter magazine and The Artist magazine aswell. I'll have a good look at those later too. Then I went back down to The Works, just for a look round, I wasn't going to buy anything. There was this little girl in and she pointed and said "Look!.Stitch!" to her mother. Her mother said, "Oh, yes! It is a big one!" I turned to see what they were looking at, and yes indeed, there was a giant Stitch, from the animated movie Lilo and Stitch on top of a display! The girls mother reached it down to have a closer look, and apparently it makes some kind of noise. I don't know how much it cost, but anyway the mother put it back. So then I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral and then I went home. When I got home, I told my Mum all about my shopping trip, gave her her change, Tesco club card, shopping list and keys and put the groceries away. I tested my new key in the front door, and it works fine. Then I had my lunch and watched some telly. What have you been doing today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

@sharonelton lol yes I love doing diamond paintings. But I got frustrated yesterday because I put the wrong diamond on. I had to redo some of them.

@JESSY3236 I have one I was given as a birthday or Christmas present once that I haven't started yet. I bet that was frustrating. I'm not a very patient person when things like that happen!

Sounds like you've been busy and having fun at the same time. Do you enjoy doing the diamond paintings? Tomorrow I'm hoping to do another oil pastel picture. It's supposed to be a Partridge in a Pear tree, but I couldn't find an actual Partridge in a Pear tree on the copyright free pictures site, so it's a Partridge on a fence in front of a tree which may or may not be a Pear tree!

Iceland? Geez, do not think I made it that far. You women are busy people. I am like dammit I have to leave front gate. As long as you are fulfilled and having fun is all that matters.
