An Article in Reader's Digest

I am enjoying my subscription to Reader's Digest. I started getting it with the July/August edition. In it, there was an interesting article entitled "The Best Snack in Every State". It had the usual pecan pralines from Georgia, Arizona cactus candy, Montana jerky, and Hawaiia's Spam musubi. But for Idaho, I was a bit disappointed. I was sure it would be some potato snack. But, alas it was Mylo's Torch finger steaks. The Torch opened in the 50's and I think it is still going strong. I haven't been there in a long time. But, to me, the finger steaks weren't what my ex and I kept going back for. It was their onion rings. Thick delicious outer coating and the sauce were to die for. Sort of a mixture of special sauce and cocktail sauce. Delish. Oh, don't get me wrong the finger steaks were good too, but just not what I enjoyed most. Gotta love a good onion ring.

I used to love reading Readers Digest.
I used to like Steak and Shake stuff.

I've enjoyed my subscription so far. I never cared much for steak. A lot of places around here to get shakes, some good and some not so good.

That makes sense from your viewpoint, why would you like anything to do with poatoes, those instamash Idaho taters pretty damn good though, I get it, its just common there, meat always wins everywhere, even though corporate world is trying to get us to convert to plant protein Sauces too.

I love onion rings when I became an adult since I could not stand onion rings when I was a child.

They are good especially if the batter and seasoning are good.
