3 October - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening. Yes, I'm awake. I shouldn't be, but it was a very long day. I have a few things to be thankful for. I'm thankful for getting up when I did this morning. I got seven hours of sleep. I'm thankful for the Bible study this morning. It was a very good discussion. I'm thankful for the lunch with the ladies today. It was almost the only thing I had to eat today. We went to Red Robin. I don't know if they have those in other parts of the country. It's a gourmet restaurant. It's a little pricey, but the food is wonderful. I'm thankful day two is done with Twinky. I love Twinky. I like her owner. I don't like the way she keeps house. Tomorrow, I give her the sad news that I won't be watching Twinky again. I'm thankful that when I fell in her apartment this morning, I didn't get hurt more than I did. I tripped over the lip to the patio coming into the apartment after taking Twinky outside. I'm fine. I hurt a bit and I'll be taking some Ibuprofen in a few minutes. It could have been a lot worse. I'm thankful one of the Bible study women lives close by and I could call her for help off the floor. I landed hard on my knees. They're sore, but they're fine. I didn't damage them. So, even though I fell, I'm fine and thankful I am. I'm thankful for Writer's Guild tonight. We had a small group tonight. I read Guns of War and got feedback on the section I read the last time and corrected. There's more to correct. I love the feedback. It makes me a better writer. Okay, that's what I'm thankful for. We're getting fall temperatures by the end of the week. I'm so looking forward to the cooler weather. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading.
