At the Hangzhou Asian Games, which are taking place one year after the plans due to Covid 19, the Indian Sportspersons have performed exceptionally well. The total medal tally is at 81, surpassing the previous best of 70 attained at Jakarta (Indonesia)2018. Olympic Gold Medalist Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won the Gold medal and the silver also went to an Indian player. Indian Cricket women's team won the Gold. So did - many Shooting players. Equestrian Gold in team event in 41 years. Plus medals in Athletics like Steeplechase, 110 M Hurdles etc. Perhaps this also means that the Indian contingent might win great medals in the Paris Olympics of 2024? Keeping my fingers crossed. Information obtained from News site mainly Times of India.

The medal tally has risen to 86 today and we still have two more days to add some more. A few are assured. Keeping fingers crossed. We feel hopeful to have a spectacular performance at Olympics too. Now the World Cup Cricket has begun. I will be looking forward to your posts about the same.

@arunima25 One post is already out. I had planned to put more Asian Games post but due to the image upload issue, I think that not all would get keen interest. Plus certain time constraints are also there.

@arunima25 Oh looks like the Bandh had too much of an affect. I wonder if such Bandhs achieve their purpose?
