Thanks to the efforts of the International Fund For Animal Welfare (IFAW) who answered an emergency call from a concerned animal lover on Thursday morning that dolphins were seen swimming at the mouth of a river in Wellfleet Massachusetts. The members of the rescue team decided to use a dolphin rescue vehicle to get the two dolphins away from the shallow part of the river. The two dolphins were then taken by the rescue team to the Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown where they taken care of and then they will released back to the water later in the day. The IFAW rescue team members mentioned that they will keep an eye on the dolphins for a few days using a temporary tracking tag on them. Link is upi.com/3421696018105 via @upi

Dolphins sometimes seem to lose their sense of direction and get themselves stranded somewhere. I hope those two will be safe now.

I'm so glad they were able to help out the dolphins. I wonder if with the tropical storms that have been in that area had them confused as to where they were?

That is likely what happened since a storm hit for the area recently.
