Cabbage salad

This is one of my favourite dishes Cabbage is grated and marinated in salt for about half an hour It is then squeezed out.
Curds is beaten to which mustard paste and sugar is added. The grated cabbage is mixed with the curds to which onion rings are also added along with chopped green chilies and coriander leaves
Yummy salad is ready.

I am making a lot of coleslaw lately. Cabagge is cheap now and lettuce are very expensive due to the rains.

Coleslaw I assume is shredded cabbage I grate the cabbage

@allknowing It is shredded cabage with shredded carrot and a special dressing.

@allknowing I haven't been heard of cabbage salad .. generally we make it chopped & fry with masala & oil .. your recipe oh just wow yummy

I love cabbage, but never had cabbage salad. I sometimes fry cabbage with pork (as I don't eat beef).
